The powerful formula combines 16.3% zinc oxide, vitamin C, and light-reflecting banana poweder-inspired pigments to protect AND correct. It brightens dull, uneven skin over time and prevents future signs of visible sun damage.

We decided to make Banana Bright Sunscreen a mineral sunscreen because when it comes to SPF, mineral sunscreens are known to be gentler on sensitive skin. Chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the skin, while physical sunscreens sit on the skin’s surface, creating a physical barrier to reflect UVA and UVB rays. Physical sunscreens are also known for being better for the environment. Plus, Ole loves physical sunscreen, himself, so naturally he wanted to create his own.
Zinc oxide is the protective ingredient in Banana Bright Sunscreen. It is broad spectrum, meaning it protects skin from a broad range of rays on the light spectrum. In protecting skin from those rays, our mineral sunscreen is also helping prevent dark spots and other signs of visible aging due to sun exposure.

Banana Bright Sunscreen feels good, smells good, and looks good! No need to worry about that sunblock smell or greasy texture at all. The texture is somewhere between a cream and a lotion, which gives it a subtle blurring effect. Upon application your skin will feel instantly hydrated and any fine lines and wrinkles will appear smoother. This smooth texture wears beautifully under makeup, but we recommend letting it absorb completely before you go in with foundation. No makeup? No problem.
