Ole Henriksen

Scandinavian skincare expert Ole Henriksen has been giving clients his signature Ole Glow™—pure radiance from the inside out—for more than 40 years. Inspired by his own experience overcoming “problem” skin with botanical treatments, Ole devoted himself to skincare and cosmetic chemistry. The Denmark native opened his spa in 1975 in Beverly Hills, and in 1984, he launched his namesake product line so clients could enjoy spa results at home. Drawing on the healthy lifestyle of Scandinavia, Ole Henriksen skincare combines natural botanicals, powerful actives and essential fatty acids to exfoliate, treat and soothe skin—resulting in the Ole Glow.

E! network approached me to star in a one-hour television special about the latest and hottest in spa treatments. The show becomes a big hit and People magazine features me in a two-page spread, “Pore Relations.”

The spa became Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa and moved across the street to other side of Sunset Plaza. I wanted to really reinvent myself and my brand, expand, and incorporate state-of-the-art wet room treatments. Simultaneously, I launched my new packaging design focused on vivid colors and was the first in the beauty industry to do so.

  • 1989

I became known as the skincare guru to the stars. It was a huge honor for me, although I treated everyone as a star. I was booked a year in advance!

I left Denmark, globetrotting, and settled in Indonesia where I worked as a professional dancer and model. It became a turning point, I developed cystic acne and fell under the magic spell of a local esthetician Lagita—who transformed my skin and piqued my interest in skincare!
