Women and men alike suffer from this unpleasant skin condition, where the hair follicle grows sideways into the tissue, leaving an inflamed bump under the skin. More commonly this is an issue for people with thicker and curlier hair, but it can also happen after shaving or tweezing. Fortunately, we can do something about it!
The fix: Use our roll on blemish attack on the area to encourage the hair to come to the surface. To remove an ingrown hair, use a magnifying mirror and very sharp tweezer and grab the hair from the base, being careful not to dig into the skin. To prevent them, use walnut complexion scrub or new beginning scrub two to three times a week. You might also want to use blemish attack daily defense gel or invigorating night gel as additional preventative measures.
