Get Kissable Lips – Just in Time for VDAY!

When it comes to Valentine’s Day must haves – kissable, soft lips are high on the list! Back in April, I wrote a blog post about perfecting your pout by exfoliating your lips with Katy Perry’s favorite – our african red tea exfoliating lip salve.  This time, I wanted to sit down with Ole to get some more insight on how you can take your lips from drab to fab next time you pucker up!

“A key step to having the perfect pout is exfoliating the skin on and around the lips,” says Ole “getting rid of any dead skin will leave your lips shining!” This can be done by pouring approximately 1 tsp of honey on a flat, round complexion sponge and massaging the skin is a circular motion. Polishing your lips with honey will soothe and replenish moisture, while the complexion sponge removes all the excess dead skin and stimulates blood circulation for a slight plumping action. Follow with an application of our fresh lips SPF 15 for both sun protection and a further plumping action from the menthol and camphor ingredients.

To combat fine lines around the lip area, try using our invigorating night gel. “You can apply a thin layer around the lips before bed,” says Ole. With cell renewing ingredients like our multifruit extract and calming ingredients like algae, you’ll awaken to fresh, soft and revitalized lips!

Now you can kiss your honey with confidence this Valentine’s day! Do you have any fun lip priming tips? We want to hear in the comments below.
